Han Lin Zhen started the match with the kick off. Zin el Din Zidan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Eray Hayırlı made a huge save. Ove Wiberg kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Bergnorden IF defense, Han Lin Zhen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sixten Bokelund. The Bergnorden IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sixten Bokelund should have stopped the shot. Zin el Din Zidan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Braulio Gelacio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Eray Hayırlı made a huge save. Anselmo Koehler kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Ove Wiberg shot from long distance in the 11th minute, but Eray Hayırlı was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Han Lin Zhen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sixten Bokelund having to interfere. The audience cheered when Ove Wiberg's long shot passed Eray Hayırlı's right side. It was 1-1, 16 minutes into the match. Xove Contreras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eray Hayırlı having to interfere. After 21 played minutes Bergnorden IF got a freekick which was hit by Kristian Bäcklin. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Braulio Gelacio in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eray Hayırlı prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Braulio Gelacio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eray Hayırlı was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Bergnorden IF's Sixten Bokelund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Han Lin Zhen in the 29th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Orlando Pirates's goal looked a bit too open when Xove Contreras came free, but Eray Hayırlı reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Han Lin Zhen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 35 minutes into the match, Xove Contreras had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eray Hayırlı. Orlando Pirates's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Xove Contreras was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 38 minutes into the game, Xove Contreras lined in a short shot 3-1 behind a frustrated Eray Hayırlı. In the 41st match minute, Orlando Pirates was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danilo Peres to maneuver through the defense. Giovani Queirós charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Giovani Queirós the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 44th minute, Giovani Queirós hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute, Braulio Gelacio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eray Hayırlı. The goal made the score 4-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Braulio Gelacio made the kick off in the second half. Bergnorden IF's Sixten Bokelund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Han Lin Zhen in the 53rd minute of play. In the 56th minute, Han Lin Zhen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Braulio Gelacio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eray Hayırlı read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Orlando Pirates's goal looked a bit too open when Xove Contreras came free, but Eray Hayırlı reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Bergnorden IF getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Kristian Bäcklin hit a great ball. Anselmo Koehler took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 61st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sixten Bokelund. Bergnorden IF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Braulio Gelacio in the 69th minute of play forced Orlando Pirates's goalkeeper Eray Hayırlı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eray Hayırlı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braulio Gelacio in the 71st minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Orlando Pirates's goal looked a bit too open when Braulio Gelacio came free, but Eray Hayırlı reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zin el Din Zidan in the 74th minute of play forced Orlando Pirates's goalkeeper Eray Hayırlı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eray Hayırlı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braulio Gelacio in the 77th minute of play. Han Lin Zhen might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sixten Bokelund. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Han Lin Zhen ran back to his position shaking his head. Eray Hayırlı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xove Contreras in the 83rd minute of play. Eray Hayırlı showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xove Contreras in the 85th minute of the match. Eray Hayırlı took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zin el Din Zidan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Orlando Pirates's zone, Braulio Gelacio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eray Hayırlı came out of the goal and Braulio Gelacio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 92nd minute Zin el Din Zidan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eray Hayırlı saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anselmo Koehler hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. 94 minutes into the match, Braulio Gelacio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eray Hayırlı. Orlando Pirates's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Braulio Gelacio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Bergnorden IF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
