With a left leg Tomas Baldovino saved Anga FC from getting behind. Benedicto Cordarrel kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 12th minute Nicolás Castillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Baldovino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th match minute, Anga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Seoirse McJon to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gualter Gulak in the 19th minute of play forced Anga FC's goalkeeper Tomas Baldovino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 20 minutes of play, Jataiense Futebol Clube's Nicolás Castillo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. After 28 played minutes Anga FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcelino Arlo. 30 minutes into the game, Candido Urbes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Tomas Baldovino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gavino Egoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Sem Titulescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jataiense Futebol Clube's Sem Titulescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Seoirse McJon in the 38th minute of play. Sem Titulescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gavino Egoi in the 40th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Seoirse McJon got free with Sem Titulescu in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jataiense Futebol Clube's Ahan Capaul managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Andrea Pennetta in the 45 minute of the game. Kaká MacAlister hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicolás Castillo was the one to do the kick off. The Jataiense Futebol Clube supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Jataiense Futebol Clube would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
