In the 3rd minute, Kevin Will hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 邵夕辉 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kevin Will went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. If 姜康雄 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Casper Cookesley came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Fotas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Casper Cookesley couldn't finish the play. 香港Julia学院's 邵夕辉 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save 香港Julia学院 from getting a goal against them. 14 minutes into the match, 香港Julia学院's goal looked a bit too open when Dugald Bowen came free, but 邵夕辉 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Casper Cookesley kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, 姜康雄 notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Fotas's Fleming Brennan. Fleming Brennan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 20 minutes into the match, 香港Julia学院's 姜康雄 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fleming Brennan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 姜康雄 in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fleming Brennan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kent Merz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Casper Cookesley took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 邵夕辉. 邵夕辉 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. 姜康雄 struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Fleming Brennan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 香港Julia学院. Kent Merz might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 邵夕辉. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kent Merz ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Will in the 44th minute of play forced 香港Julia学院's goalkeeper 邵夕辉 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 姜康雄 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 邵夕辉 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassidy Mills in the 52nd minute of play. 邵夕辉 came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Fotas's Kent Merz. But to his dismay, Kent Merz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. In the 64th minute, Kevin Will made a precise shot to the right of 邵夕辉. 香港Julia学院's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-3. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, 姜康雄 put it in 4-4 from a short distance just to the right of Fleming Brennan. In the 73rd match minute, 香港Julia学院 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 孙镇平 to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Fotas's Fleming Brennan got control of the ball when 姜康雄 tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 85 minutes, Kent Merz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fotas and the 香港Julia学院 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Fotas's Kent Merz got a free kick in the 85th minute. After 88 minutes of play, Fotas's Kevin Will made it 5-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 邵夕辉 was left in no man's land by his defense there! 邵夕辉 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Keefe Brennan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Fotas fans cheered their team off the field, for while 香港Julia学院 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
