If Kevin Will had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Andre Brandl could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Kris Markcrow made a huge save. Darius Schönmoser in the 10thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Kris Markcrow, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Iso Heintz kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Keefe Brennan in the 15th minute of play forced Unterelsaff FC's goalkeeper Raimund Genzwürker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kris Markcrow made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Darius Schönmoser sent off a good shot on target. Darius Schönmoser could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Kris Markcrow made a huge save. Darius Schönmoser's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Kris Markcrow firmly grabbed it by the left post. Dallas Murphy kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Keefe Brennan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Raimund Genzwürker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Dugald Bowen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fotas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Andre Brandl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Kris Markcrow tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Darius Schönmoser scored 2-1 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kris Markcrow, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dugald Bowen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 56 minutes, Andre Brandl managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Unterelsaff FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andre Brandl was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Darius Schönmoser in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kris Markcrow prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 62 minutes into the match, Fotas's Keefe Brennan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raimund Genzwürker narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 63 minutes into the game, Fotas's Brook Obree nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Raimund Genzwürker made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Darius Schönmoser in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kris Markcrow saved Fotas from getting behind. In the 68th minute, Alex Palmington hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st match minute, Fotas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartholemew Dalglish to maneuver through the defense. When Maximilian Huff came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Unterelsaff FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximilian Huff couldn't finish the play. Kris Markcrow showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darius Schönmoser in the 75th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Kevin Will got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 81st minute, Alois Krenn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 82 played minutes Unterelsaff FC got a freekick which was hit by Guntram Werling. Keefe Brennan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 83rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Raimund Genzwürker. Unterelsaff FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 84th minute, Fotas's Dugald Bowen ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Raimund Genzwürker. Raimund Genzwürker yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. If Kevin Will had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
