Everyone was convinced a goal was close when FC74 Patagones pro's Gafur Cerit in the 5th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Roger Eriksson was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Simrishamn through an amazing save. Eduardo Arlo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Alebeck, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. With his leg Roger Eriksson managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when FC74 Patagones pro's Tomáš Cisko fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 8 minutes, Bogdan Biraga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Simrishamn and the FC74 Patagones pro players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bogdan Biraga kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Roger Eriksson was a little too slow when Gafur Cerit got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 12th minute. The score was now 1-0. Eduardo Arlo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertil Brolin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roger Eriksson had great luck who in the 17thth minute grab hold of the ball when Gafur Cerit from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Tomáš Cisko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Roger Eriksson made a huge save. If Gafur Cerit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Roger Eriksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gafur Cerit in the 22nd minute of the match. Peter Alebeck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Arlo having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Manuel Gentza during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 26th match minute, FC74 Patagones pro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Gentza to maneuver through the defense. 29 minutes into the match, FC74 Patagones pro's Gafur Cerit sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roger Eriksson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 30 played minutes Simrishamn got a freekick which was hit by Kjell-Arne Kjellkvist. 32 minutes into the game, Mariano Soter cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Roger Eriksson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 37 minutes into the game, Alexandru Nastac lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Roger Eriksson. After 44 minutes, Gafur Cerit made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Simrishamn's Roger Eriksson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Peter Alebeck made a kick off. 60 minutes into the match, Simrishamn's goal looked a bit too open when Gafur Cerit came free, but Roger Eriksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Simrishamn's zone, Gafur Cerit stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roger Eriksson came out of the goal and Gafur Cerit tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roger Eriksson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomáš Cisko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC74 Patagones pro's Carlos Estevez was substituted for Gafur Cerit. After 69 played minutes Simrishamn got a freekick which was hit by Bogdan Biraga. In the 70th minute Armando Paredes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Eriksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mikael Jansson was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 73 minutes into the match. After 73 played minutes Simrishamn got a freekick which was hit by Mikael Jansson. In the 75th minute of the match Higinio Gasteiz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roger Eriksson skillfully saved the ball. Roger Eriksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandru Nastac in the 76th minute of play. Armando Paredes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When FC74 Patagones pro's Alexandru Nastac in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Simrishamn's goalie prevented a goal. 95 minutes into the game, FC74 Patagones pro's Alexandru Nastac nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roger Eriksson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Simrishamn's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
