Bernardo Aguayo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franck Ribéry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Barışcan Akova got free with Bernardo Aguayo in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Barışcan Akova recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 15 minutes, Barışcan Akova managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eregli SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Barışcan Akova was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bernardo Aguayo made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Barışcan Akova sent off a good shot on target. 19 minutes into the match, Barışcan Akova had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernardo Aguayo. Diamond Crown FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Barışcan Akova was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. A sloppy throw-in by Slawomir Cisek in the 23rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Diamond Crown FC's Christian do Nascimento. Barışcan Akova could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Bernardo Aguayo made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Barışcan Akova got free with Bernardo Aguayo in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eregli SK's Slawomir Cisek managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Christian do Nascimento in the 38 minute of the game. With a little luck, Diamond Crown FC's Bernardo Aguayo got control of the ball when Barışcan Akova tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Seçkin Öksüzoğlu came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Eregli SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Seçkin Öksüzoğlu couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Vasko Zagorchev made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Diamond Crown FC defense, Vasko Zagorchev kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernardo Aguayo. The Diamond Crown FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernardo Aguayo should have stopped the shot. After 56 played minutes Diamond Crown FC got a freekick which was hit by Costin Verzea. Bernardo Aguayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Antonio Bertrand in the 57th minute of play. Bernardo Aguayo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vasko Zagorchev's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Diamond Crown FC's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Antonio Bertrand came free, but Bernardo Aguayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd match minute, Eregli SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adil Uluerkan to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute Vasko Zagorchev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Aguayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 67 minutes of play, Eregli SK's Seçkin Öksüzoğlu made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bernardo Aguayo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 69 minutes, Cesinha Arósio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Diamond Crown FC and the Eregli SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cesinha Arósio hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. 71 minutes into the match, Diamond Crown FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vasko Zagorchev came free, but Bernardo Aguayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardo Aguayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Antonio Bertrand in the 73rd minute of play. 74 minutes into the game, Eregli SK's Vasko Zagorchev nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernardo Aguayo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. A collision led to Diamond Crown FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Jerônimo Correia hit a great ball. Cesinha Arósio hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute, Slawomir Cisek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adil Uluerkan hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Christopher Reimann was a little too slow when Costin Verzea got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 4-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Costin Verzea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Diamond Crown FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Costin Verzea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christopher Reimann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
Eregli SK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
