The audience thought a goal was coming when Joseph Joestar got free with Alfonso Taraborrelli in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to BOTAFOGO getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Nilmar Correia hit a great ball. In the 19th minute, Joseph Joestar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joseph Joestar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Litoral EC - CIMZ's Joseph Joestar in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BOTAFOGO's goalie prevented a goal. Dagoberto Custódio's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Alfonso Taraborrelli firmly grabbed it by the left post. A nice corner shot did that Paulinho Penha got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alfonso Taraborrelli quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the last second Alfonso Taraborrelli throw himself and got hold of the ball when Joseph Joestar in the 35thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Litoral EC - CIMZ were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after BOTAFOGO's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Paulinho Penha took the corner. The corner ended in Paulinho Penha almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but BOTAFOGO's Alfonso Taraborrelli did a great save. 38 minutes into the match, Joseph Joestar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfonso Taraborrelli. BOTAFOGO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joseph Joestar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The Litoral EC - CIMZ fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when Litoral EC - CIMZ's Joseph Joestar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. BOTAFOGO made a substitution. Dave Furia replaced Dorian Cavalcante. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joseph Joestar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alfonso Taraborrelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joseph Joestar in the 60th minute of play. After 63rd play minutes Joseph Joestar shot 4-1, a short shot which went by Alfonso Taraborrelli and just under the crossbar into goal. Dagoberto Custódio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Taraborrelli having to interfere. Alfonso Taraborrelli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joseph Joestar's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Kıvanç Bengi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaanek Oese in the 72nd minute of play. After 75 minutes of play, Litoral EC - CIMZ's Joseph Joestar made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfonso Taraborrelli was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Joseph Joestar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 83 minutes, Joseph Joestar made it 6-1 with a short kick to the right side. BOTAFOGO's Alfonso Taraborrelli tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Alfonso Taraborrelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joseph Joestar, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Alfonso Taraborrelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joseph Joestar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. André Hoffmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Taraborrelli having to interfere. During the 94th minute of the match Nilmar Correia completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Nilmar Correia a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to BOTAFOGO getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Nilmar Correia hit a great ball. After 95 played minutes, Litoral EC - CIMZ's Sílvio Luís Madureira shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alfonso Taraborrelli came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Litoral EC - CIMZ reached it. Litoral EC - CIMZ's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
