With a little luck, ITAFUT 4EVER's Jardel Fernandez got control of the ball when Lucas Ribéry tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 6th minute, Dé Favoretto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gigio Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Mineiro in the 10th minute of play. José Augusto Novaes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Gigio Buffon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Luiz Perez during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Ribéry in the 30th minute of play forced ITAFUT 4EVER's goalkeeper Jardel Fernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute, Renatinho Urbano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Sidnei Xavier managed to get in a good position for a shot. HollywooDogs's supporters rose to their feet, but Sidnei Xavier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jardel Fernandez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lucas Ribéry to make the kick off. Jardel Fernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Ribéry in the 52nd minute of the match. HollywooDogs's Gigio Buffon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save HollywooDogs from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in HollywooDogs's zone, Dé Favoretto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gigio Buffon came out of the goal and Dé Favoretto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. HollywooDogs's Ademar Santana was substituted for Luiz Fernando Motta. The corner ended in Cléber Palmeira almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but HollywooDogs's Gigio Buffon did a great save. Orlando Mineiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gigio Buffon having to interfere. Jardel Fernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuca Donatello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 74 played minutes ITAFUT 4EVER got a freekick which was hit by Renatinho Urbano. After 76 played minutes HollywooDogs got a freekick which was hit by Gil Bastos. Gigio Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Augusto Novaes in the 82nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Ribéry in the 90th minute of play forced ITAFUT 4EVER's goalkeeper Jardel Fernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the match, HollywooDogs's goalkeeper Gigio Buffon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José Augusto Novaes. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The HollywooDogs fans cheered their team off the field, for while ITAFUT 4EVER had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
