Eusebio Gorosti started the match with the kick off. HollywooDogs's Gigio Buffon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save HollywooDogs from getting a goal against them. Gigio Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baltasar Gaitan in the 14th minute of the match. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by HollywooDogs's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fernan Lugo was slow to take the kick. During this time Cable a Tierra's players had a chance to rest. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victoriano Eztebe in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gigio Buffon saved HollywooDogs from getting behind. After a rather tough play, HollywooDogs's Gil Bastos got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Gigio Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eleuterio Ekain, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Gigio Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victoriano Eztebe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. HollywooDogs's Gigio Buffon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save HollywooDogs from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Cable a Tierra booed when HollywooDogs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celsinho Couto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute, Victoriano Eztebe made a precise shot to the right of Gigio Buffon. HollywooDogs's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 41 minutes into the game, Eusebio Gorosti recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gigio Buffon. Eusebio Gorosti showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Samuca Donatello hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lucas Ribéry stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, HollywooDogs's goal looked a bit too open when Eusebio Gorosti came free, but Gigio Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manoel Porto got free with Apolo Quilo in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. HollywooDogs's Gigio Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusebio Gorosti in the 67th minute of play. Cable a Tierra's Generoso Tavio was substituted for Roberto Lucila. Lucas Ribéry scored 2-1 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Apolo Quilo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ademar Santana charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ademar Santana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After recieving a nice pass, Cable a Tierra's Fernan Lugo tried to score from far away in the 79th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mete Gøl in the 81st minute of play forced Cable a Tierra's goalkeeper Apolo Quilo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Cable a Tierra's goalkeeper Apolo Quilo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucas Ribéry. A collision led to HollywooDogs getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Ademar Santana hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute, Gil Bastos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fernan Lugo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cable a Tierra fans cheered their team off the field, for while HollywooDogs had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
