C.D. Pepino’s's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave HollywooDogs the free kick. The supporters of HollywooDogs booed when C.D. During the 24th minute of the match Luiz Fernando Motta completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. In the 25th match minute, HollywooDogs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fernando Motta to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Santana in the 27th minute of play forced C.D. Pepino’s's goalkeeper Tanio Chavez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. C.D. Pepino’s's Tanio Chavez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save C.D. Pepino’s from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Albages in the 31st minute of play forced HollywooDogs's goalkeeper Gigio Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. HollywooDogs's Gigio Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lázaro Sobarzo in the 33rd minute of play. Xamín Llamllam kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, HollywooDogs's Sidnei Xavier broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Lucas Ribéry lost his temper 54 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 54 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for HollywooDogs! Gigio Buffon had in the 55thth minute some difficulties stopping Gustavo Albages's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After a defensive mix-up in C.D. Pepino’s's zone, Manoel Porto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tanio Chavez came out of the goal and Manoel Porto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paulo Santana hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. HollywooDogs's Ricardo Bittencourt was substituted for Gil Bastos. HollywooDogs's Ademar Santana was substituted for Wilson Motta. After 63 played minutes HollywooDogs got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Santana. Gigio Buffon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robustiano Bautista in the 67th minute. Régis Batista might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tanio Chavez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Régis Batista ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 69th minute Régis Batista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tanio Chavez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Régis Batista in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tanio Chavez saved C.D. Pepino’s from getting behind. Paulo Santana hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Gigio Buffon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robustiano Bautista in the 82nd minute. In the 86thth minute of the game Régis Batista who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.D. Pepino’s's Tanio Chavez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in C.D. Pepino’s's zone, Sidnei Xavier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tanio Chavez came out of the goal and Sidnei Xavier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Régis Batista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
