The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jan Pająk took the kick off in the first half of the match. When U21 Poland's Witold Bycofski in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye STAL ST WOLA's goalie prevented a goal. The corner went over the outstretched arms of STAL ST WOLA's goalie and right to Kamilo Glik. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. STAL ST WOLA's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. When U21 Poland's Witold Bycofski in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye STAL ST WOLA's goalie prevented a goal. Witold Bycofski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Radoslaw Bielecki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. STAL ST WOLA's Radoslaw Bielecki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Pająk in the 12th minute of play. In the 12th minute Jan Pająk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radoslaw Bielecki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute, Witold Bycofski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Radoslaw Bielecki was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 19 minutes into the match, STAL ST WOLA's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Pająk came free, but Radoslaw Bielecki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, U21 Poland's Witold Bycofski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Radoslaw Bielecki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Radoslaw Bielecki didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Witold Bycofski went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan Pająk in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Radoslaw Bielecki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Radoslaw Bielecki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Witold Bycofski in the 37th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kazimír Kuthan in the 39th minute of play forced U21 Poland's goalkeeper Tanek Wojtyna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to STAL ST WOLA getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Roque Pirro hit a great ball. In the 41st minute of the match Stanislaw Maziarski shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Radoslaw Bielecki showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 44thth minute of the game Witold Bycofski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but STAL ST WOLA's Radoslaw Bielecki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When STAL ST WOLA's Kazimír Kuthan in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye U21 Poland's goalie prevented a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Kazimír Kuthan made the kick off in the second half. Tanek Wojtyna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kazimír Kuthan in the 51st minute of play. STAL ST WOLA's Radoslaw Bielecki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save STAL ST WOLA from getting a goal against them. Witold Bycofski might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Radoslaw Bielecki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Witold Bycofski ran back to his position shaking his head. Witold Bycofski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Radoslaw Bielecki made a huge save. 72 minutes into the match, U21 Poland's goal looked a bit too open when Kazimír Kuthan came free, but Tanek Wojtyna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75thth minute of the game Witold Bycofski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but STAL ST WOLA's Radoslaw Bielecki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Witold Bycofski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Radoslaw Bielecki, 0-6. U21 Poland's Er Håland was substituted for Witold Bycofski. U21 Poland's Roman Fujarczuk was substituted for Karol Andrzejewski. U21 Poland made a substitution. Federico Chiesa replaced Stanislaw Maziarski. Er Håland might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Radoslaw Bielecki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Er Håland ran back to his position shaking his head. 85 minutes into the match, Jan Pająk dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Radoslaw Bielecki, 0-7. When U21 Poland's Er Håland in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye STAL ST WOLA's goalie prevented a goal. Radoslaw Bielecki came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by U21 Poland's Er Håland. But to his dismay, Er Håland quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. U21 Poland played a much better game than STAL ST WOLA and deserved their victory. The STAL ST WOLA players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
