In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind PLUMIN's goalkeeper Rodrigo Massó, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Simon Ferrer got free with Grzegorz Szamotulski in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 22nd minute Gunnar Deisler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Massó saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Diablofaryd F.C.'s Grzegorz Szamotulski got control of the ball when Simon Ferrer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rodrigo Massó took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wagner Kill, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Simon Ferrer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Grzegorz Szamotulski made a huge save. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bartolo Basualdo to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cirilo Salvino in the 52nd minute of play forced Diablofaryd F.C.'s goalkeeper Grzegorz Szamotulski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in PLUMIN's zone, Wagner Kill stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodrigo Massó came out of the goal and Wagner Kill tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 69 minutes into the match, Diablofaryd F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Rigoberto Ayala came free, but Grzegorz Szamotulski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 72 minutes Diablofaryd F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jonas Orlondon who took care of the corner kick. Rigoberto Ayala was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. If Wagner Kill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute.
