Locademia's attentive Faustino Ferrando managed to snatch the ball when Omar Erramun made a throw-in in the 23rd minute of the game. In the 24th minute Gaston Gaitan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petre Traian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Congo Bongo booed when Locademia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Matos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Congo Bongo's zone, Lucas Matos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petre Traian came out of the goal and Lucas Matos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Locademia's goalkeeper Aristide Lung, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 30 minutes into the match, Congo Bongo's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Matos came free, but Petre Traian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aristide Lung showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergio Austin in the 33rd minute of the match. Lucas Matos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Petre Traian made a huge save. Petre Traian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Matos, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute.
