The corner was taken by Daniel Björk in the 4th minute. Jonas Chorache showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lisandro Nafarroa, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. 7 minutes into the match, ♦Diabetes♦'s Carolo Stephen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andres Ariando narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Carolo Stephen might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andres Ariando. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carolo Stephen ran back to his position shaking his head. 8 minutes into the match, Monsalvo's goal looked a bit too open when Carolo Stephen came free, but Andres Ariando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carolo Stephen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 14 minutes into the game, ♦Diabetes♦'s Carolo Stephen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andres Ariando made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Andres Ariando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carolo Stephen in the 19th minute of play. Carolo Stephen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute, Carolo Stephen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ♦Diabetes♦ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Carolo Stephen scored 3-0 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andres Ariando, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Monsalvo's Paulino Ekhi got a free kick in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carolo Stephen in the 36th minute of play forced Monsalvo's goalkeeper Andres Ariando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the game, Daniel Björk recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Andres Ariando. Daniel Björk showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. Andres Ariando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carolo Stephen in the 42nd minute of the match. Andres Ariando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carolo Stephen in the 46th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

A collision led to Monsalvo getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Ismael Ikatz hit a great ball. Monsalvo's Andres Ariando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carolo Stephen in the 53rd minute of play. Carolo Stephen might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andres Ariando. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carolo Stephen ran back to his position shaking his head. Andres Ariando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carolo Stephen in the 55th minute of the match. Jonas Chorache made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeledon Leoiar in the 56th minute of play. Andres Ariando didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carolo Stephen went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. ♦Diabetes♦ made a substitution. Cristiano Ronaldinho replaced Carolo Stephen. Cristiano Ronaldinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 65 minutes, Sebastian Tercero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ♦Diabetes♦'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Tercero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. ♦Diabetes♦ made a substitution. Cosme Gilen replaced Maurinho Senna. A collision led to ♦Diabetes♦ getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Cristiano Ronaldinho hit a great ball. Monsalvo made a substitution. Teobaldo Montrell replaced Lisandro Nafarroa. In the 74th minute, Cristiano Ronaldinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81stth minute of the game Cristiano Ronaldinho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Monsalvo's Andres Ariando was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonas Chorache took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeledon Leoiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute Zeledon Leoiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Chorache saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ♦Diabetes♦'s attentive Isaltino Barral managed to snatch the ball when Ismael Ikatz made a throw-in in the 87th minute of the game. In the 88th minute Cristiano Ronaldinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andres Ariando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Monsalvo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 91st minute. Penalty! After a defensive mix-up in Monsalvo's zone, Cristiano Ronaldinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andres Ariando came out of the goal and Cristiano Ronaldinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
