In the 2nd minute Claudio-Paul Caniggia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Falcioni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Falcioni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Östen Stor in the 7th minute of the match. After 10 minutes, Franky Dhondt made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Deportivo Pucho's Józef Mlynarczyk tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 15 minutes into the match, Cardo Ruso Cordobés's goal looked a bit too open when Östen Stor came free, but Julio Falcioni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, Deportivo Pucho's Östen Stor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Falcioni made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Julio Falcioni came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Pucho's Claudio-Paul Caniggia. But to his dismay, Claudio-Paul Caniggia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Claudio-Paul Caniggia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Falcioni having to interfere. Julio Falcioni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio-Paul Caniggia in the 29th minute of play. Julio Falcioni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Östen Stor in the 41st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julio Tolino in the 43rd minute of play forced Cardo Ruso Cordobés's goalkeeper Julio Falcioni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Falcioni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio-Paul Caniggia in the 44th minute of play. Prospero Tiadoro charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Prospero Tiadoro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 46th minute, Prospero Tiadoro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The wind increased when Franky Dhondt made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julio Tolino in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Falcioni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Östen Stor's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 57thth minute, Julio Falcioni skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Franky Dhondt might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Józef Mlynarczyk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Franky Dhondt ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franky Dhondt in the 58th minute of play forced Deportivo Pucho's goalkeeper Józef Mlynarczyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Cardo Ruso Cordobés booed when Deportivo Pucho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prospero Tiadoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bennvar Back scored 3-3 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Józef Mlynarczyk, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 94th minute, Paulo Milio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute of the match Modesto Urtungo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Józef Mlynarczyk showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Józef Mlynarczyk had in the 136thth minute some difficulties stopping Modesto Urtungo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 139th minute there was a penalty for Cardo Ruso Cordobés. Feliberto Pueblo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Józef Mlynarczyk. 4-3. Cardo Ruso Cordobés:s Józef Mlynarczyk showed great skill when he stopped Wilfredo Thomas:s penalty. The referee gave Cardo Ruso Cordobés a penalty, 142 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Samuel Olenberg, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Deportivo Pucho's Józef Mlynarczyk. 5-3. For all the effort they put into the match, the Deportivo Pucho players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cardo Ruso Cordobés.
