Jake Leonard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erubiel Urtats in the 25th minute of play. In the 28th minute of the game Rickard Pihlberg made a throw-in which Guillermo Monclús played forward. In the 31st minute Fred Nilsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Orlando Gatti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rickard Pihlberg hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erubiel Urtats to make the kick off. Rickard Pihlberg made in the 54th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by WINNING ELEVEN's Neron Veterini. Hugo Orlando Gatti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fred Nilsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
