David Matthew didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabio Filipo went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Alejandro Martinez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Uzcudun AFC's Zeledon Victoro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvano Arano in the 14th minute of play. Zeledon Victoro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejandro Martinez, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Uzcudun AFC were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after Huarriors AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Abel Jerico took the corner. The corner led Uzcudun AFC's Abel Jerico to fire away a dangerous shot which David Matthew despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Uzcudun AFC's Fabio Filipo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Matthew narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fabio Filipo struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. David Matthew didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uzcudun AFC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moreno Torricelli in the 32nd minute of play forced Uzcudun AFC's goalkeeper Zeledon Victoro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benigno Nazario got a throw-in 37 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Moreno Torricelli. Zeledon Victoro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from German Cordarius in the 38th minute of the match. Fabio Filipo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Matthew read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by Huarriors AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Abel Jerico was slow to take the kick. During this time Uzcudun AFC's players had a chance to rest. Uzcudun AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Abel Jerico in the 43rd minute. After taking down the ball on Uzcudun AFC's corner Abel Jerico fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and David Matthew quite easily take care of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabio Filipo got free with David Matthew in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fabio Filipo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without David Matthew having to make a save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Huarriors AFC's goalkeeper David Matthew, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 79th minute Beto Acosta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Matthew saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Huarriors AFC's David Matthew played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beto Acosta in the 81st minute of play. If Silvano Arano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
