An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Llanos in the 2nd minute of play forced The Waldos's goalkeeper David Dewulf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7thth minute of the game Prudencio Isias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but EasyTarget's Rene Jerico was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rene Jerico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marin Ştefănescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. David Dewulf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto George in the 13th minute of the match. In the 17th minute Aureliano Furtado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Dewulf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, The Waldos's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto George came free, but David Dewulf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, The Waldos's Prudencio Isias sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rene Jerico narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 21 minutes EasyTarget's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jann Bavneby who took care of the corner kick. In the 24th minute, Ivan Anaya ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. David Dewulf was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpected shot in the 28th minute by Jann Bavneby got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 29 played minutes The Waldos got a freekick which was hit by Kostas Milonas. In the 30th minute Ivan Anaya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Dewulf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute, Ivan Anaya left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The EasyTarget fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. EasyTarget's Ceferino Eliazar managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Kostas Milonas in the 35 minute of the game. Rene Jerico made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alvaro Pagomari in the 39th minute. Jann Bavneby could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Rene Jerico made a huge save. In the 44th minute Prudencio Isias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Jerico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Rene Jerico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marin Ştefănescu in the 54th minute of play. Prudencio Isias scored 1-2 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rene Jerico, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Waldos made a substitution. Justo Martino replaced Fidel Erdiano. In the 66th minute Prudencio Isias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Jerico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rene Jerico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marin Ştefănescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Dewulf stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto George's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. EasyTarget's Rene Jerico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Pagomari in the 73rd minute of play. After 77 minutes, Rogelio Regis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the EasyTarget and the The Waldos players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 78th minute, Rogelio Regis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kostas Milonas during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 87 minutes into the match, EasyTarget's goal looked a bit too open when Prudencio Isias came free, but Rene Jerico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rene Jerico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marin Ştefănescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. The supporters of The Waldos booed when EasyTarget was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fermin Xacintu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 90 played minutes, The Waldos's Jann Bavneby shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rene Jerico came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in The Waldos reached it. In the 94th minute Leandro Millrick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Jerico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, The Waldos's Berten Imbrechs got a free kick in the 95th minute. David Dewulf acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 96th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Higinio Llanos.

The EasyTarget players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
