Geronimo Eleazar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 21 minutes into the match, Albardón F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Tosun Paşa came free, but Geronimo Eleazar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 0-2 became the score in the 26th minute when Nereo Florian elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 31stth minute of the game Ivan Gaizko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vaqueteros FC's Javier Tono was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alexandru Stroescu hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After 35 minutes of play, Albardón F.C's Eusebio Lucero made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Javier Tono was left in no man's land by his defense there! Geronimo Eleazar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tosun Paşa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tosun Paşa scored 1-3 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Geronimo Eleazar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ivan Gaizko to strike the kick off in the second half. Javier Tono showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Lopez, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Javier Tono prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 95 minutes into the game, Albardón F.C's Aureliano Buendia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Javier Tono made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4.

The Vaqueteros FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Vaqueteros FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
