In the 16th minute, Mario Lawrence hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Angelo Demesio in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yao Guang Chao prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Roque Martxel's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Yao Guang Chao skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 26th minute Isaias Leobardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yao Guang Chao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Isaias Leobardo notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Yaji FC's Yao Guang Chao. Yao Guang Chao was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in CSD Pte Derqui's zone, Arturo Ranolfo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Honorio Sarracino came out of the goal and Arturo Ranolfo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 35th match minute, Yaji FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ladislao Tximitx to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute, Isaias Leobardo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Yao Guang Chao, passed just outside the right post. Yaji FC's Yao Guang Chao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Demesio in the 41st minute of play. Yaji FC's Arturo Ranolfo got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Giovani Mattos hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Isaias Leobardo struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Yao Guang Chao didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CSD Pte Derqui. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Angelo Demesio made a kick off. A throw-in in the 58th minute of the game was made by Orlando Lixandro with Arturo Ranolfo as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 59 minutes into the match, CSD Pte Derqui's goal looked a bit too open when Ladislao Tximitx came free, but Honorio Sarracino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute Yaji FC were awarded a corner. Arturo Ranolfo went to the cornerflag to take it. Yao Guang Chao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Demesio, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After a rather tough play, Yaji FC's Delmar Tavio got a free kick in the 63rd minute. CSD Pte Derqui made a substitution. Zacarias Lidon replaced Isaias Leobardo. In the 66th minute of the match Horia Săliştean shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yao Guang Chao showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Arturo Ranolfo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Honorio Sarracino having to make a save. Honorio Sarracino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Ranolfo in the 68th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Zacarias Lidon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yao Guang Chao. Yaji FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zacarias Lidon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Yaji FC made a substitution. Kryspin Ziemba replaced Arturo Ranolfo. Yaji FC's Maximiliano Feliu was substituted for Pascual Pes. When Orlando Lixandro fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yaji FC's protests and gave Orlando Lixandro a yellow card for diving instead. After 77 played minutes Yaji FC got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Lixandro. 84 minutes into the match, Yaji FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roque Martxel came free, but Yao Guang Chao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yao Guang Chao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Demesio in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute Zacarias Lidon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yao Guang Chao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Kryspin Ziemba managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yaji FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kryspin Ziemba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Honorio Sarracino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of CSD Pte Derqui booed when Yaji FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Lixandro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute of the match, Kryspin Ziemba got a very nice opportunity to score, but Honorio Sarracino was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.
