The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Club Real Cantera's Gaudencio Frichoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Club Real Cantera from getting a goal against them. After 15 minutes, Emanuel Phelipe made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Xeneizes's Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Qi Xun hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Xeneizes's Aaron Tiso got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Everardo Bidun kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After 34 minutes of play, Club Real Cantera's Emanuel Phelipe made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Phelipe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Club Real Cantera getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Agustin Lain hit a great ball. Gaudencio Frichoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Qi Xun in the 42nd minute of the match. 43 minutes into the game, Antonio Ascencio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Real Cantera's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Xeneizes the free kick. In the 44th minute, Antonio Ascencio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Qi Xun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Gaudencio Frichoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

54 minutes into the match, Xeneizes's goalkeeper Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emanuel Phelipe. After having played for 55 minutes, Qi Xun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Xeneizes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Qi Xun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gaudencio Frichoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Qi Xun, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Emanuel Phelipe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Xeneizes's Diego Rinaldi was substituted for Eusebiu Gârbovan. Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emanuel Phelipe in the 66th minute. Club Real Cantera's Gaudencio Frichoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Qi Xun in the 69th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Xeneizes's zone, Emanuel Phelipe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo came out of the goal and Emanuel Phelipe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustin Lain in the 75th minute of play forced Xeneizes's goalkeeper Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Xeneizes's goalkeeper Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Xeneizes's Silverio Flor was substituted for Aristides Nastasio. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by Xeneizes's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Emanuel Phelipe was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Real Cantera's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Club Real Cantera's Herminio Lano to fire away a dangerous shot which Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emanuel Phelipe in the 80th minute. In the 83rd minute, Fulgencio Peru ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gaudencio Frichoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 88 minutes into the game, Fulgencio Peru cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Gaudencio Frichoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Club Real Cantera booed when Xeneizes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Everardo Bidun didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score was 2-2 after 90 minutes, which forced the match into extra-time.

Emanuel Phelipe kicked well hit freekick during the 103rd minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Club Real Cantera players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Xeneizes.
