Tugay Özyurek started the match with the kick off. Emilio Tartalo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johan Kiewit, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Narciso Teixeira in the 10th minute of play forced C. A. Balnearia's goalkeeper Emilio Tartalo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bermejo Club's attentive Feliberto Tauro managed to snatch the ball when Anselmo Ler made a throw-in in the 13th minute of the game. In the 15th minute, Abelardo Vistruario got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of C. A. Balnearia booed when Bermejo Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruperto Theobald didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leandro Munio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Frantzes in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Johan Kiewit got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Bermejo Club's Leandro Munio got control of the ball when Damian Frantzes tried to sneak it across the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, C. A. Balnearia's goal looked a bit too open when Johan Kiewit came free, but Emilio Tartalo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Johan Kiewit fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Tartalo having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Johan Kiewit in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emilio Tartalo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 39th minute, Johan Kiewit got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 44 minutes of play, Bermejo Club's Johan Kiewit made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emilio Tartalo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ruperto Theobald hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Ruperto Theobald kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Honorio Nikola to make the kick off. Jeremy D'Alessandro made in the 57th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Honorio Nikola immediately put the ball in play. Carlito Sobera kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Leandro Munio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abelardo Vistruario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, C. A. Balnearia's Emilio Tartalo got control of the ball when Honorio Nikola tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tugay Özyurek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leandro Munio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in C. A. Balnearia's zone, Feliberto Tauro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emilio Tartalo came out of the goal and Feliberto Tauro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. C. A. Balnearia made a substitution. Mauro Todor replaced Damian Frantzes. Emilio Tartalo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Honorio Nikola's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind C. A. Balnearia's goalkeeper Emilio Tartalo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Bermejo Club getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Honorio Nikola hit a great ball. Honorio Nikola struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Emilio Tartalo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bermejo Club. C. A. Balnearia made a substitution. Lino Abechuco replaced Tugay Özyurek. Lino Abechuco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leandro Munio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Abelardo Vistruario had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leandro Munio. Bermejo Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abelardo Vistruario was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Honorio Nikola struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Emilio Tartalo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bermejo Club. Neither team could find the winning goal during normal time. The second half finished 1-1. Extra-time would have to be played.

With new strength the players walked out on the field for the first half of overtime. Lino Abechuco in C. A. Balnearia was the one to initiate the kick off. 107 minutes into the match, Bermejo Club's Honorio Nikola sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emilio Tartalo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leandro Munio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lino Abechuco in the 110th minute of the match. Carlito Sobera charged in rather forcefully in the 111th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlito Sobera the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to C. A. Balnearia getting a freekick after 111 minutes play. Carlito Sobera hit a great ball. The score was still level after an even and exciting first-half in extra time. The players took a moment to grab a drink and get instructions from their managers before swapping ends.

The players looked a little tired but resolute before the second half of the overtime, where Honorio Nikola took the kick off. With a little luck, C. A. Balnearia's Emilio Tartalo got control of the ball when Honorio Nikola tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorio Nikola in the 125th minute of play forced C. A. Balnearia's goalkeeper Emilio Tartalo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 128th minute, Lino Abechuco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leandro Munio was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. C. A. Balnearia were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Bermejo Club for a fine match.
