Spectators: 453 (Terracing: 340, Seating: 104, VIP seats: 9) Menchu FC's Gabriele Batistuta started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabriele Batistuta in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Agustin Ereinotz saved Concordia from getting behind. Gabriele Batistuta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Agustin Ereinotz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Gabriele Batistuta took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Agustin Ereinotz. Agustin Ereinotz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Agustin Ereinotz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriele Batistuta in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriele Batistuta in the 13th minute of play forced Concordia's goalkeeper Agustin Ereinotz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute Gabriele Batistuta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agustin Ereinotz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Gabriele Batistuta sped through Concordia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Agustin Ereinotz. In the 18th minute Gabriele Batistuta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agustin Ereinotz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriele Batistuta in the 19th minute of play forced Concordia's goalkeeper Agustin Ereinotz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 27 played minutes Concordia got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Socorro. Gabriele Batistuta might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Agustin Ereinotz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gabriele Batistuta ran back to his position shaking his head. Agustin Ereinotz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriele Batistuta in the 30th minute of play. Agustin Ereinotz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriele Batistuta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Agustin Ereinotz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabriele Batistuta's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. After some careless play in the Concordia defense, Gabriele Batistuta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Agustin Ereinotz. The Concordia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Agustin Ereinotz should have stopped the shot. Gabriele Batistuta took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Agustin Ereinotz. Agustin Ereinotz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. In the 44th minute Gabriele Batistuta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agustin Ereinotz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agustin Ereinotz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriele Batistuta, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Concordia's Agustin Ereinotz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriele Batistuta in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Oso in the 56th minute of play forced Menchu FC's goalkeeper Camilo Salvidor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute, Antonio Gar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Camilo Salvidor was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. Pastor Cisco made a great header on Concordia's corner, it was just that Menchu FC's Camilo Salvidor managed to reach the ball for a save. 68 minutes into the match, Concordia's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriele Batistuta came free, but Agustin Ereinotz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Camilo Salvidor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Socorro in the 71st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hektor Hasan in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Camilo Salvidor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Menchu FC made a substitution. Arturo Roderigo replaced Peter Söderqwist. After 82 played minutes Concordia got a freekick which was hit by Lisandro Dubardo. 82 minutes into the game, one of Concordia:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Armando Roland walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Concordia's goalkeeper Agustin Ereinotz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 87th minute, Abdoulay Doucouré hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Menchu FC's Junior Savaş was substituted for Gabriele Batistuta. After 88 played minutes Menchu FC got a freekick which was hit by Abdoulay Doucouré. Lisandro Dubardo's late challenge caught a Menchu FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lisandro Dubardo helped the player get up and apologised. Lisandro Dubardo kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Junior Savaş could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Agustin Ereinotz made a huge save. The corner led Menchu FC's Armando Roland to fire away a dangerous shot which Agustin Ereinotz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 95th minute, Junior Savaş reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Agustin Ereinotz. The goal made the score 1-6.
