The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 22nd minute of the game. One of RomoLerouX UniteD UXX:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Revolución Joao FC:s goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Bartoli in the 28th minute of play forced RomoLerouX UniteD UXX's goalkeeper Genaro Abendano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the match, RomoLerouX UniteD UXX's goal looked a bit too open when Cuero Ibañez came free, but Genaro Abendano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
