After a defensive mix-up in Club Puerto Quito's zone, Enrico Barreneche stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauricio Precioso came out of the goal and Enrico Barreneche tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Enzo Gallardo got a throw-in 35 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Armando Larrieta. Marcell Yashin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ayoví Costoya, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. The audience was convinced that Enrico Barreneche's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mauricio Precioso was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Atletico de la Rosa CF's Marcell Yashin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Atletico de la Rosa CF from getting a goal against them. Enrico Barreneche's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mauricio Precioso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. 41 minutes into the game, Atletico de la Rosa CF's Enrico Barreneche nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mauricio Precioso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enrico Barreneche's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. After the first half Atletico de la Rosa CF were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rufino Giron was the one to do the kick off. Mauricio Precioso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrico Barreneche in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 55th minute of the game Erdinç Hayırlı made a throw-in which Santiago Huemen played forward. After some careless play in the Club Puerto Quito defense, Enrico Barreneche kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mauricio Precioso. The Club Puerto Quito fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mauricio Precioso should have stopped the shot. Atletico de la Rosa CF made a substitution. Danny-Rafael De La Rosa-Choca replaced Enrico Barreneche. Rufino Giron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcell Yashin having to interfere. When Atletico de la Rosa CF's Danny-Rafael De La Rosa-Choca in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Armando Larrieta kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Alessandro Eguizabal could shoot a difficult shot in the 75th minute, which Mauricio Precioso however easily saved by the left post. Danny-Rafael De La Rosa-Choca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mauricio Precioso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Club Puerto Quito's Mauricio Precioso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danny-Rafael De La Rosa-Choca in the 80th minute of play. If Danny-Rafael De La Rosa-Choca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 82 minutes into the match, Club Puerto Quito's goal looked a bit too open when Danny-Rafael De La Rosa-Choca came free, but Mauricio Precioso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mauricio Precioso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Danny-Rafael De La Rosa-Choca's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Marcell Yashin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jhon Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute, Danny-Rafael De La Rosa-Choca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Atletico de la Rosa CF's goal looked a bit too open when Jhon Costa came free, but Marcell Yashin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Club Puerto Quito's Diego Narbona suffered a concussion after 91 minutes and had to leave the field. Ximun Camudio hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Atletico de la Rosa CF had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
