In the 7th minute, Jörn Svartengren made a precise shot to the right of Xavieon Acenero. Juventud Valiosa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 10 played minutes, Inter de Guayaquil FC's Jakub Ziombkowski shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Xavieon Acenero came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Inter de Guayaquil FC reached it. Xavieon Acenero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jörn Svartengren in the 11th minute of play. When Inter de Guayaquil FC's Jörn Svartengren in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Juventud Valiosa's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Jörn Svartengren put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Xavieon Acenero. Lorenzo Acutain recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Xavieon Acenero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorenzo Acutain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xavieon Acenero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jörn Svartengren, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute, Jörn Svartengren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Inter de Guayaquil FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Xavieon Acenero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jörn Svartengren in the 28th minute of play. Jörn Svartengren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Xavieon Acenero having to make a save. Xavieon Acenero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jörn Svartengren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 34 minutes, Jörn Svartengren made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Juventud Valiosa's Xavieon Acenero tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 38th minute, Jörn Svartengren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 41 minutes into the game, Santos Casoliva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Juventud Valiosa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Inter de Guayaquil FC the free kick. Santos Casoliva kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Juventud Valiosa defense, Jörn Svartengren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xavieon Acenero. The Juventud Valiosa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xavieon Acenero should have stopped the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cuero Fias was the one to do the kick off. Jakub Ziombkowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 52ndth minute of the game Jörn Svartengren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Juventud Valiosa's Xavieon Acenero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Juventud Valiosa's zone, Jörn Svartengren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xavieon Acenero came out of the goal and Jörn Svartengren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sebastian Hellkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darío Dorrego, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jörn Svartengren received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Xavieon Acenero came out and tried to block the shot, but Jörn Svartengren slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 58th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Inter de Guayaquil FC's Jörn Svartengren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Xavieon Acenero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Juventud Valiosa defense, Jörn Svartengren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xavieon Acenero. The Juventud Valiosa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xavieon Acenero should have stopped the shot. Inter de Guayaquil FC made a substitution. Éric Cantona replaced Jörn Svartengren. A collision led to Juventud Valiosa getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Santos Casoliva hit a great ball. 69 minutes into the match, Inter de Guayaquil FC's Salvador Musacchio broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Juventud Valiosa's goalkeeper Xavieon Acenero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Éric Cantona's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xavieon Acenero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Juventud Valiosa's goalkeeper Xavieon Acenero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Inter de Guayaquil FC's zone, Darío Dorrego stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastian Hellkvist came out of the goal and Darío Dorrego tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Xavieon Acenero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Éric Cantona went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-10 was the resulting score. With an all-out effort, Inter de Guayaquil FC's Xavieon Acenero threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jakub Ziombkowski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some careless play in the Juventud Valiosa defense, Éric Cantona kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xavieon Acenero. The Juventud Valiosa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xavieon Acenero should have stopped the shot. Inter de Guayaquil FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
