C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Christian Almkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bonifacio Abascal might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Olo Kahn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bonifacio Abascal ran back to his position shaking his head. Giorgio March made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teodoro Zamora in the 21st minute. The throw-in from Domenech Villa in the 24th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Santiago Nafría. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind C.D. Ciudad de Soria's goalkeeper Olo Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Christian Almkvist came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Almkvist couldn't finish the play. C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's attentive Valeriu Oneț managed to snatch the ball when Ovidio Zapater made a throw-in in the 36th minute of the game. Martin Berriotxoa's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Giorgio March firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a rather tough play, C.D. Ciudad de Soria's Ovidio Zapater got a free kick in the 44th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christian Almkvist to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Christian Almkvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Olo Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 53rd minute of the match C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 got a corner. C.D. Ciudad de Soria's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Saul Roman ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Alejandro Zandi in the 54th minute tried to hit away a contribution it happened that he shot the ball via the crossbar into his own goal. A completely unnecessary self made goal, 0-1. Olo Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Almkvist in the 57th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, C.D. Ciudad de Soria's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Almkvist came free, but Olo Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Zamora came free, but Giorgio March reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Zamora in the 64th minute of play forced C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's goalkeeper Giorgio March to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute Christian Almkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olo Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christian Almkvist struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Olo Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07. C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 made a substitution. Alessandro Del Piero replaced Christian Almkvist. Gervasio Diagur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olo Kahn having to interfere. Gervasio Diagur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute, Diego Gandia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Reinaldo Santalla kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Olo Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Roman in the 84th minute of play. Olo Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alessandro Del Piero in the 88th minute of the match. C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Saul Roman in the 89th minute. After taking down the ball on C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's corner Saul Roman fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Olo Kahn quite easily take care of the ball. C.D. Ciudad de Soria's Olo Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro Del Piero in the 90th minute of play. Olo Kahn came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's Alessandro Del Piero. But to his dismay, Alessandro Del Piero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
