NewDip F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dariusz Wos in the 11th minute of play forced NewDip F.C.'s goalkeeper Domenico Lauro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dariusz Wos scored 0-2 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Domenico Lauro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Domenico Lauro came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by A.C. Patagonia's Dariusz Wos. But to his dismay, Dariusz Wos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by NewDip F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rafael Nóbrega was slow to take the kick. During this time A.C. Patagonia's players had a chance to rest. Domenico Lauro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dariusz Wos went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Dariusz Wos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Domenico Lauro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, NewDip F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Horea Boian came free, but Domenico Lauro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Domenico Lauro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dariusz Wos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dariusz Wos in the 38th minute of play forced NewDip F.C.'s goalkeeper Domenico Lauro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the game, A.C. Patagonia's Dariusz Wos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Domenico Lauro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. A sloppy throw-in by Elia Pasquale in the 44th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by A.C. Patagonia's Amerigo Ianni. When Elia Pasquale fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NewDip F.C.'s protests and gave Elia Pasquale a yellow card for diving instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Horea Boian to make the kick off. Domenico Lauro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dariusz Wos in the 54th minute of play. A collision led to NewDip F.C. getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Alberigo Sacchi hit a great ball. A.C. Patagonia made a substitution. Sylwester Sroka replaced Rui Costa. Domenico Lauro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dariusz Wos's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. With his leg Domenico Lauro managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when A.C. Patagonia's Horea Boian fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, A.C. Patagonia's Amerigo Ianni got a free kick in the 69th minute. A.C. Patagonia made a substitution. Aldo Di Carlo replaced Horea Boian. The supporters of NewDip F.C. booed when A.C. Patagonia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amerigo Ianni didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 77 minutes, Aldo Di Carlo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.C. Patagonia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aldo Di Carlo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Domenico Lauro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dariusz Wos in the 79th minute of play. Nils Støle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessio Giusti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alessio Giusti might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nils Støle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alessio Giusti ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dariusz Wos in the 90th minute of play forced NewDip F.C.'s goalkeeper Domenico Lauro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nils Støle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferruccio Scalabrino in the 94th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. A.C. Patagonia had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
