Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bruno Antognoni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferruccio Scalabrino in the 7th minute of play. In the 10th minute Davide Spadoni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domenico Lauro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Domenico Lauro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 47 minutes, Davide Spadoni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Italy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Davide Spadoni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Bar Olo made the kick off in the second half. Domenico Lauro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davide Spadoni, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bar Olo in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Domenico Lauro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Domenico Lauro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bar Olo's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Dino Cavallaro's late challenge caught a Italy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dino Cavallaro helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, NewDip F.C.'s Dino Cavallaro got a free kick in the 85th minute. After having played for 86 minutes, Enzo Luongo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
