The audience thought a goal was coming when Xacintu Ribeiro got free with Lorenz Ureta in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Ajax Colombiano's Lorenz Ureta got control of the ball when Xacintu Ribeiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Ajax Colombiano's goalkeeper Lorenz Ureta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xacintu Ribeiro. Ajax Colombiano's Lorenz Ureta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernando Harroyo in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Xacintu Ribeiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atlético Bucaramanga fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 27 minutes into the match, Ajax Colombiano's goalkeeper Lorenz Ureta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xacintu Ribeiro. After a defensive mix-up in Ajax Colombiano's zone, Xacintu Ribeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lorenz Ureta came out of the goal and Xacintu Ribeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 34 minutes into the match, Ajax Colombiano's goal looked a bit too open when Yulian Tzambov came free, but Lorenz Ureta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lorenz Ureta came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético Bucaramanga's Xacintu Ribeiro. But to his dismay, Xacintu Ribeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Xacintu Ribeiro made a kick off. Patrik Øskan stood somewhat misplaced when Dimitri Payet came free in front of goal and shot 3-1 to the left of him in the 54 minute. After a rather tough play, Ajax Colombiano's Pudes Checa got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 58th minute of the match Hernando Harroyo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lorenz Ureta skillfully saved the ball. After 60 played minutes Ajax Colombiano got a freekick which was hit by Errapel Aguiluz. After a defensive mix-up in Ajax Colombiano's zone, Xacintu Ribeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lorenz Ureta came out of the goal and Xacintu Ribeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lorenz Ureta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xacintu Ribeiro's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Xacintu Ribeiro succeeded in the game's 74th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-1. Ajax Colombiano's Lorenz Ureta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xacintu Ribeiro in the 79th minute of play. 79 minutes into the game, Atlético Bucaramanga's Xacintu Ribeiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lorenz Ureta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. In the 86th minute Atlético Bucaramanga were awarded a corner. Hernando Harroyo went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Atlético Bucaramanga's Yulian Tzambov to fire away a dangerous shot which Lorenz Ureta despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Tadzio Buruaga hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ajax Colombiano players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Atlético Bucaramanga.
