An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlondon Zubillaga in the 5th minute of play forced La Vieja Guardia Jrs's goalkeeper Apolo Chica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gora Argandona was a little too slow when Alex Pedrera got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 7th minute. The score was now 1-0. Club Atletico Nacional's Gora Argandona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matxin Maliaño in the 13th minute of play. Gora Argandona made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matxin Maliaño in the 16th minute. Matxin Maliaño in the 16thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gora Argandona, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Isias Cembrana succeeded in the game's 19th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. 29 minutes into the match, Sever Rădescu notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of La Vieja Guardia Jrs's Apolo Chica. Apolo Chica was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 34th minute Tiago Ozuna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apolo Chica saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute of the game Frutos Baltanas made a throw-in which Rutenio Galdamiz played forward. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico Nacional's zone, Matxin Maliaño stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gora Argandona came out of the goal and Matxin Maliaño tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Apolo Chica took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiago Ozuna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Apolo Chica made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rutenio Galdamiz in the 52nd minute. Alex Pedrera took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gora Argandona. Gora Argandona dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. La Vieja Guardia Jrs's Salvatore Villaquilambre managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Frutos Baltanas in the 63 minute of the game. 64 minutes into the game, La Vieja Guardia Jrs's Isias Cembrana nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gora Argandona made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Gora Argandona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matxin Maliaño, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gora Argandona came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by La Vieja Guardia Jrs's Alex Pedrera. But to his dismay, Alex Pedrera quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Matxin Maliaño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gora Argandona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matxin Maliaño in the 78th minute of play. After 82 played minutes Club Atletico Nacional got a freekick which was hit by Ildefonso Orense. La Vieja Guardia Jrs made a substitution. Chorche Viya replaced Isias Cembrana. The supporters of La Vieja Guardia Jrs booed when Club Atletico Nacional was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ildefonso Orense didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute, Alex Pedrera left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Vieja Guardia Jrs fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. Gora Argandona came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by La Vieja Guardia Jrs's Matxin Maliaño. But to his dismay, Matxin Maliaño quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. 91 minutes into the game, La Vieja Guardia Jrs's Alex Pedrera nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gora Argandona made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sever Rădescu got free with Apolo Chica in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. La Vieja Guardia Jrs's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
