After 3 played minutes Wallachia F.C got a freekick which was hit by Josias Mateu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hori Guillemez in the 9th minute of play forced Wallachia F.C's goalkeeper Demetrio Gian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Edwin van der Sar got control of the ball when Montes Larena tried to sneak it across the goal line. Demetrio Gian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pacorro Aguilar in the 14th minute of play. In the 18th match minute, ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noel Guerrero to maneuver through the defense. Pacorro Aguilar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Demetrio Gian read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Mario Alberto Yepes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Demetrio Gian quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pacorro Aguilar in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Demetrio Gian saved Wallachia F.C from getting behind. Pacorro Aguilar might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Demetrio Gian. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pacorro Aguilar ran back to his position shaking his head. Josias Mateu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edwin van der Sar having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Pacorro Aguilar made a precise shot to the right of Demetrio Gian. Wallachia F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Wallachia F.C's Steven Manzardo got a free kick in the 38th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Wallachia F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Pacorro Aguilar came free, but Demetrio Gian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wallachia F.C's Demetrio Gian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pacorro Aguilar in the 43rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hori Guillemez in the 45th minute of play forced Wallachia F.C's goalkeeper Demetrio Gian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Josias Mateu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match, Pacorro Aguilar got a very nice opportunity to score, but Demetrio Gian was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Montes Larena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Furman Salantes was substituted for Noel Guerrero. 65 minutes into the match, Wallachia F.C's goalkeeper Demetrio Gian had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pero Falla. In the 66th minute of the match, Pero Falla tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Demetrio Gian saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Wallachia F.C's goalkeeper Demetrio Gian, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 86 minutes into the game, ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Pero Falla nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Demetrio Gian made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The goalkeeper, Demetrio Gian, was totally fooled by ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Pero Falla, who 90 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Montes Larena struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Edwin van der Sar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wallachia F.C. Demetrio Gian was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Pero Falla showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 99 minute of play.
