If Andries De Putter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andries De Putter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Benvido Fuica made a huge save. Raven Heart's Benvido Fuica proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Raven Heart from getting a goal against them. The supporters of AFC United booed when Raven Heart was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blai Tojedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andries De Putter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Benvido Fuica made a huge save. Kurt Blixt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lei Bin having to interfere. A collision led to AFC United getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Patricio Caminero hit a great ball. After the first half Raven Heart were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The referee ignored AFC United's protests and gave Andries De Putter a yellow card for diving instead. Andries De Putter hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, AFC United's Zeng Sang Chao got a free kick in the 88th minute. A hard shot by Jorge Comesaña from long distance, 88 minutes into the match, got Lei Bin's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. AFC United's Lei Bin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bazil Corales in the 90th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Jordi Scherz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 95 minutes into the match, Faustino Asprilla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benvido Fuica. Raven Heart's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Faustino Asprilla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. AFC United were victorious despite being under pressure from Raven Heart for much of the match.
