In the 25th minute, Jader Duran ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kevin Mier was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. In the 28thth minute of the game Rian Giggs who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but the mills's Jordan Pickford was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 30 minutes into the match, the mills's goal looked a bit too open when Rian Giggs came free, but Jordan Pickford reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sabaneta FC's Firman Urquizu got a free kick in the 35th minute. With an all-out effort, the mills's Kevin Mier threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jader Duran, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After the first half Sabaneta FC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Bonifaco Corrillos charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bonifaco Corrillos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sabaneta FC's Osmundo Bolde was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jordan Pickford in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.
