Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Seyfettin Sadak made the kick off which started today's match. In the 2nd minute Omar Arnaldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Grande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ian Grande stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Omar Arnaldo's shot from short distance in the 2nd minute. When Glorioso Deportivo Cali's Omar Arnaldo in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye R.B Leipzig's goalie prevented a goal. In the 4th minute Seyfettin Sadak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hardi Jucknischke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 5th minute R.B Leipzig were awarded a corner. Lorenzo Ribota went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Glorioso Deportivo Cali's goalie and right to Americo Morodo. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Glorioso Deportivo Cali's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Hardi Jucknischke made an important save on a dangerous shot by Seyfettin Sadak in the 9th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tzvetan Mudrov in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ian Grande saved R.B Leipzig from getting behind. After some careless play in the R.B Leipzig defense, Tzvetan Mudrov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ian Grande. The R.B Leipzig fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ian Grande should have stopped the shot. R.B Leipzig's Ian Grande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartosz Wicherek in the 15th minute of play. Seyfettin Sadak blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hardi Jucknischke having to make a save. Hardi Jucknischke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Seyfettin Sadak in the 18th minute of the match. Ian Grande took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Arnaldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Americo Morodo hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Ian Grande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Arnaldo in the 22nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Glorioso Deportivo Cali's Guerau Sastre got a free kick in the 25th minute. The nice shot from Seyfettin Sadak in the 28thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Hardi Jucknischke had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. A sloppy throw-in by Guerau Sastre in the 31st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by R.B Leipzig's Damaso Flamenco. Ian Grande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Arnaldo in the 34th minute of play. In the 34th minute Omar Arnaldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Grande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ian Grande showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omar Arnaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Ian Grande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteve Matei in the 40th minute of the match. After having played for 41 minutes, Seyfettin Sadak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. R.B Leipzig's supporters crossed their fingers, but Seyfettin Sadak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Glorioso Deportivo Cali were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Omar Arnaldo was the one to do the kick off. Damaso Flamenco charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Damaso Flamenco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to R.B Leipzig getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Damaso Flamenco hit a great ball. Lorenzo Ribota's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hardi Jucknischke read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Ian Grande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartosz Wicherek in the 60th minute of play. Seyfettin Sadak took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hardi Jucknischke. Hardi Jucknischke dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. A collision led to R.B Leipzig getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Simo Laht hit a great ball. With a little luck, R.B Leipzig's Ian Grande got control of the ball when Tzvetan Mudrov tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tzvetan Mudrov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Ian Grande made a huge save. Ian Grande took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tzvetan Mudrov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 82 minutes into the match, Seyfettin Sadak notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Glorioso Deportivo Cali's Hardi Jucknischke. Hardi Jucknischke was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 84 minutes, Mannie Escabi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the R.B Leipzig and the Glorioso Deportivo Cali players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tzvetan Mudrov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ian Grande read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Damaso Flamenco hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 92nd match minute, Glorioso Deportivo Cali was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guerau Sastre to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rdth minute of the game Seyfettin Sadak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Glorioso Deportivo Cali's Hardi Jucknischke was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The R.B Leipzig support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
