A collision led to Amazonas getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Sotero Closa hit a great ball. Amazonas's attentive Dalmau Fidalgo managed to snatch the ball when Hector Urtats made a throw-in in the 7th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raul Carulla in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rene Higuita prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 12 minutes Club Ibiza's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Isidoro Zabarte who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Isidoro Zabarte almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Club Ibiza's Rene Higuita did a great save. Rene Higuita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilen Arzola in the 15th minute of play. With 18 minutes on the clock, Dalmau Fidalgo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Dalmau Fidalgo hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 20 minutes in the game Hector Urtats after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Leon Dytrych. A very good opportunity. With a little luck, Amazonas's Leon Dytrych got control of the ball when Edgardo Cosca tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leon Dytrych made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Fonso in the 25th minute of play. Leon Dytrych took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Fonso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the match, Club Ibiza's Bruno Fonso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leon Dytrych narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 46th minute of the match Club Ibiza got a corner. Amazonas's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Phillip Hunt ran over to the corner to take the kick. Club Ibiza's Phillip Hunt was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Leon Dytrych in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 48th match minute, Club Ibiza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Urtats to maneuver through the defense.

Bruno Fonso hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 56th match minute, Amazonas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ponce Lerena to maneuver through the defense. Bruno Fonso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Leon Dytrych tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Club Ibiza's Xie Bin Wei quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Niceto Orallo, made in the 59th minute of the game. Sotero Closa made in the 64th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Club Ibiza's Mambru Tarapiella. After a rather tough play, Amazonas's Ponce Lerena got a free kick in the 66th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruno Fonso in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leon Dytrych saved Amazonas from getting behind. Amazonas's Leon Dytrych played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ştefan Vornicescu in the 73rd minute of play. After 74 played minutes Club Ibiza got a freekick which was hit by Xie Bin Wei. 76 minutes into the match, Amazonas's Raul Carulla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rene Higuita narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 82nd match minute, Amazonas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristobal Isazi to maneuver through the defense. Leon Dytrych showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kazuo Koriotto, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Amazonas's goal looked a bit too open when Kazuo Koriotto came free, but Leon Dytrych reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Club Ibiza booed when Amazonas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tabby Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leon Dytrych showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kazuo Koriotto, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 91st minute Kazuo Koriotto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Dytrych saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leon Dytrych didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kazuo Koriotto went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Leon Dytrych showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kazuo Koriotto, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Club Ibiza walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
