Baspinar's supporters rose to their feet, but Güven Hacıağa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joep Haar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the match, Rogier van der Tol notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Baspinar's Murathan Haliloğlu. Murathan Haliloğlu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Floris Roelofsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Baspinar's Murathan Haliloğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogier van der Tol in the 53rd minute of play.
