Ricardo Ceberiche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedicto Naelio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 5th minute, Benedicto Naelio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardo Ceberiche was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rahim Niğdeli got free with Lev Yashin in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lev Yashin made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Rahim Niğdeli sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benedicto Naelio in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ricardo Ceberiche saved Roneros F.C. from getting behind. In the 35th match minute, Roneros F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mattias Classon to maneuver through the defense. 37 minutes into the match, Roneros F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Benedicto Naelio came free, but Ricardo Ceberiche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lev Yashin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Washington Piedrahita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benedicto Naelio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ricardo Ceberiche read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Argentina's Benedicto Naelio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ricardo Ceberiche narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Witomir Jestrimski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Roneros F.C. made a substitution. Alejandro Espina replaced Rahim Niğdeli. Roneros F.C.'s Ortiz Apellaniz managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Fausto Santana in the 78 minute of the game. Ricardo Ceberiche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Loco Durazno in the 84th minute of the match. Ricardo Ceberiche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Nevada in the 87th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Roneros F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Amado Arotza came free, but Ricardo Ceberiche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ricardo Ceberiche made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Loco Durazno sent off a good shot on target. Ricardo Ceberiche didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Argentina's Amado Arotza shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-5 in the ordered_time% minute. Ricardo Ceberiche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Loco Durazno, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Argentina's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
