Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) Tolek Kiszkiel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mbaka Mbolu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Belgium's Mbaka Mbolu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tolek Kiszkiel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Damian Majewski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manuel Campens having to make a save. Belgium's Manuel Campens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Majewski in the 11th minute of play. After having played for 13 minutes, Damian Majewski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Poland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damian Majewski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Belgium's Mbaka Mbolu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tolek Kiszkiel. That made the score 2-0 after 15 minutes of play. Manuel Campens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Majewski in the 18th minute of the match. Mbaka Mbolu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 22 played minutes Poland got a freekick which was hit by Bernard Solarek. 25 minutes into the game, Pawel Dawidowicz threw the ball into play from the sideline. Belgium's Rafik Oliwa quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The audience was convinced that Damian Majewski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manuel Campens was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. 42 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Majewski came free, but Manuel Campens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manuel Campens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Majewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Damian Majewski to strike the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the match, Poland's goal looked a bit too open when Mbaka Mbolu came free, but Tolek Kiszkiel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65thth minute of the game Damian Majewski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Belgium's Manuel Campens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tolek Kiszkiel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mbaka Mbolu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Poland's Marek Czech was substituted for Damian Majewski. Poland's Ryszard Dytrych was substituted for Gilbert Cipinski. Poland's Roch Dejo was substituted for Lucjan Falkiewicz. Poland's Radomil Michnik quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Joel Wigghers, made in the 73rd minute of the game. In the 77th match minute, Poland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernard Solarek to maneuver through the defense. Poland's Tolek Kiszkiel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mbaka Mbolu in the 81st minute of play. Belgium's Mbaka Mbolu got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Marek Czech had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Belgium's Manuel Campens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marek Czech in the 88th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Marek Czech left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Poland fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Ryszard Dytrych fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Campens having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marek Czech in the 95th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Manuel Campens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Belgium's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
