Patagonia's Nils Støle got control of the ball when Kraig Fred tried to sneak it across the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de América's goal looked a bit too open when Szymon Jaszyna came free, but Marcos Ranolfo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de América's goal looked a bit too open when Dariusz Wos came free, but Marcos Ranolfo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When A.C. Patagonia's Dariusz Wos in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Estudiantes de América's goalie prevented a goal. In the 28th minute Szymon Jaszyna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Ranolfo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Ranolfo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Szymon Jaszyna, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Nils Støle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kraig Fred in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Kraig Fred made a precise shot to the right of Nils Støle. A.C. Patagonia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After 39 minutes of play, A.C. Patagonia's Dariusz Wos made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Ranolfo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marcos Ranolfo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Horea Boian went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind A.C. Patagonia's goalkeeper Nils Støle, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Horea Boian to make the kick off. Marcos Ranolfo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dariusz Wos in the 50th minute of the match. Horea Boian could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Marcos Ranolfo made a huge save. Estudiantes de América's Concetto Trasatti was substituted for Kraig Fred. A.C. Patagonia's Ludwig Wassenius was substituted for Horea Boian. A.C. Patagonia's Sylwester Sroka was substituted for Rui Costa. Estudiantes de América's Orlando Beltza was substituted for Flavio Iraunkor. Estudiantes de América's attentive Maximo Dei managed to snatch the ball when Amerigo Ianni made a throw-in in the 57th minute of the game. Ludwig Wassenius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Ranolfo having to interfere. Nils Støle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Concetto Trasatti in the 61st minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, A.C. Patagonia's goal looked a bit too open when Orlando Beltza came free, but Nils Støle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ludwig Wassenius got free with Marcos Ranolfo in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nils Støle came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Estudiantes de América's Orlando Beltza. But to his dismay, Orlando Beltza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. A.C. Patagonia made a substitution. Aldo Di Carlo replaced Dariusz Wos. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Orlando Beltza in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nils Støle saved A.C. Patagonia from getting behind. Nils Støle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Beltza, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Aldo Di Carlo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marcos Ranolfo firmly grabbed it by the left post. Marcos Ranolfo was a little too slow when Aldo Di Carlo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 3-3. In the 85th minute Orlando Beltza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils Støle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Ranolfo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sylwester Sroka in the 86th minute. Sylwester Sroka could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Marcos Ranolfo made a huge save. Marcos Ranolfo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aldo Di Carlo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcos Ranolfo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ludwig Wassenius in the 91st minute of play. Marcos Ranolfo made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Aldo Di Carlo sent off a good shot on target. The referee's whistle sounded for the end of the second half. The match was tied at 3-3. None of the players looked happy at the prospect of extra-time.
With new strength the players walked out on the field for the first half of overtime. Concetto Trasatti in Estudiantes de América was the one to initiate the kick off. 99 minutes into the match, A.C. Patagonia's goalkeeper Nils Støle had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Traian Blăniță. In the 104th minute Sylwester Sroka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Ranolfo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 107 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de América's goal looked a bit too open when Sylwester Sroka came free, but Marcos Ranolfo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 107th minute Ludwig Wassenius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Ranolfo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Traian Blăniță who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 110thth minute tested the skills of Nils Støle when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Marcos Ranolfo came out of the goal in the 112th minute to try and stop a shot by A.C. Patagonia's Aldo Di Carlo. But to his dismay, Aldo Di Carlo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. A.C. Patagonia had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
