Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Don Duarte started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Portugal's Leal Simões played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulisses Duarte in the 4th minute of play. After some careless play in the Portugal defense, Ulisses Duarte kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leal Simões. The Portugal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leal Simões should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Ulisses Duarte's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leal Simões was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. In the 9th minute CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land were awarded a corner. Diego Quadros went to the cornerflag to take it. Leal Simões showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulisses Duarte in the 11th minute of the match. Leal Simões showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amílcar Campos, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Leal Simões took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radul Tishev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ulisses Duarte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Ulisses Duarte sped through Portugal's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leal Simões. Duarte Duarte made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Paio York sent off a good shot on target. 35 minutes into the match, Paio York had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Duarte Duarte. CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paio York was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 43rd minute Ulisses Duarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leal Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 43 minutes into the game, when Nicolas Balsemão put in a rough tackle. 42 minutes into the game, one of Portugal:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Leal Simões had in the 44thth minute some difficulties stopping Golo Duarte's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Golo Duarte took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leal Simões. Leal Simões dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The Portugal players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land were winning 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paio York stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 57 minutes, Pablo Vegetti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pablo Vegetti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leal Simões made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Ulisses Duarte sent off a good shot on target. CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Duarte Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Taveira in the 61st minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Francisco Taveira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 83 minutes of play, Portugal's Paio York made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Duarte Duarte was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Hermenegildo Ventura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Portugal were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Filipe Viveiros took the corner. Gustavo Brás kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Paio York's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Duarte Duarte read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
