Lev Yashin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ceyhan Celvet in the 24th minute of play. Ceyhan Celvet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Lev Yashin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Rei Pelé had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hilario Pesquera. Golden Dragón F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rei Pelé was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Ceyhan Celvet might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lev Yashin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ceyhan Celvet ran back to his position shaking his head. ≮王者归来≯ ⭐石♔安⭐'s Lev Yashin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ceyhan Celvet in the 40th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Rei Pelé managed to get in a good position for a shot. ≮王者归来≯ ⭐石♔安⭐'s supporters rose to their feet, but Rei Pelé was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hilario Pesquera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Hilario Pesquera was a little too slow when 邱雄夕 got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 0-2. If Alan Petersen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 66 minutes, Ceyhan Celvet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Golden Dragón F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ceyhan Celvet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Golden Dragón F.C's Clodoveo Malsepica was substituted for Alan Petersen. Golden Dragón F.C made a substitution. Camerino Luey replaced Selim Mićić. After 97 minutes of play, Golden Dragón F.C's Dario Betzanos made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lev Yashin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Neither team could find the winning goal during normal time. The second half finished 2-2. Extra-time would have to be played.

After resting during the break, the players from both teams went out on the field looking very concentrated. It was now first half of the overtime. Dario Betzanos made the kick off and play began. In the 108th minute, Rei Pelé got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dario Betzanos in the 111th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lev Yashin saved ≮王者归来≯ ⭐石♔安⭐ from getting behind. A collision led to Golden Dragón F.C getting a freekick after 113 minutes play. Emmanuel Vasco hit a great ball. In the 114th match minute, Golden Dragón F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emmanuel Vasco to maneuver through the defense. In the 115th minute Rei Pelé shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilario Pesquera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half of extra-time was a real thriller. Both teams had created chances, but they were still tied when the whistle blew. The players were able to take a short breather during the short break.
