Sune Heidal started the match with the kick off. Gery Pattimura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kenny Ebsøe, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Gery Pattimura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kenny Ebsøe in the 4th minute of play. Sune Heidal had several of the AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 9 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Gery Pattimura as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 11th minute, Joshua Patiruhu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 14 played minutes Monks in Robes got a freekick which was hit by Reinar Lennild. In the 14th minute, Muladi Kuswandi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Monks in Robes getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Alberth Gosmann hit a great ball. Umar Rorimpandey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Riswan Sanusi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bøje Dyssen was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Sune Heidal kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gery Pattimura. That made the score 2-0 in the 23 minute of play. The supporters of Monks in Robes booed when AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egi Ryacudu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Monks in Robes's Kenny Ebsøe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gery Pattimura narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 36 played minutes Monks in Robes got a freekick which was hit by Sune Heidal. Monks in Robes's Bøje Dyssen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rexy Gozali in the 37th minute of play. Felix Ingvardsen kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. If Kenny Ebsøe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Joshua Patiruhu hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Gery Pattimura was a little too slow when Kenny Ebsøe got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 3-0. A collision led to AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Umar Rorimpandey hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Riswan Sanusi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's goalkeeper Gery Pattimura, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 52nd minute, Kenny Ebsøe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Monks in Robes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Joshua Patiruhu kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. The corner led Monks in Robes's Alberth Gosmann to fire away a dangerous shot which Gery Pattimura despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Riswan Sanusi in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Monks in Robes's goalie prevented a goal. Bøje Dyssen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rexy Gozali in the 69th minute of the match. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC made a substitution. Leysus Latuihamalo replaced Riswan Sanusi. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 85th minute of the game. One of AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Monks in Robes:s goal. Gery Pattimura had in the 86thth minute some difficulties stopping Frode Numelin's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Bøje Dyssen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rexy Gozali in the 90th minute of play. Frode Numelin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bøje Dyssen was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Leysus Latuihamalo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-1 in the 98 minute of play.

AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Monks in Robes had won, even though AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC had held more of the ball.
