But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Taveira couldn't finish the play. 7 minutes into the match, Supremacy Catania FC's Raimundo Espírito Santo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfredinho Gerber narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Raimundo Espírito Santo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfredinho Gerber having to make a save. In the 11th minute Raimundo Espírito Santo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredinho Gerber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Incendio in the 14th minute of play forced Supremacy Catania FC's goalkeeper Bai Kun De to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raimundo Espírito Santo scored 0-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfredinho Gerber, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 22nd minute, Fabian Emesto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Seb Gentiletti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Bai Kun De tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th match minute, C.U.E. DE COMERCIO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastião Gentiletti to maneuver through the defense. Alfredinho Gerber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Espírito Santo in the 29th minute of the match. Sergio Mustafa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Supremacy Catania FC's Bai Kun De got control of the ball when Sergio Mustafa tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Marius Mititel got a free kick in the 41st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sergio Mustafa got free with Bai Kun De in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sergio Mustafa was the one to do the kick off. Bai Kun De didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sergio Mustafa went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After 55 played minutes C.U.E. DE COMERCIO got a freekick which was hit by Marius Mititel. Supremacy Catania FC's Rachid Baba Ali Factor was substituted for Carter Barillari. A collision led to C.U.E. DE COMERCIO getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Marius Mititel hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rachid Baba Ali Factor got free with Alfredinho Gerber in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesare Maestri in the 64th minute of play forced C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's goalkeeper Alfredinho Gerber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the match, C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's goal looked a bit too open when Cesare Maestri came free, but Alfredinho Gerber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Alfredinho Gerber proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save C.U.E. DE COMERCIO from getting a goal against them. Alfredinho Gerber stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rachid Baba Ali Factor's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Salvador Romano was substituted for Sergio Mustafa. Supremacy Catania FC made a substitution. Dave Di Gregorio replaced Raimundo Espírito Santo. Alfredinho Gerber made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Dave Di Gregorio sent off a good shot on target. Bai Kun De took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvador Romano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cesare Maestri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfredinho Gerber read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Bai Kun De showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Seb Gentiletti in the 85th minute of the match. Alfredinho Gerber made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Dave Di Gregorio sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rachid Baba Ali Factor got free with Alfredinho Gerber in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dennis Baggio made in the 90th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Ramón Porto. C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Alfredinho Gerber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dave Di Gregorio in the 91st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesare Maestri in the 92nd minute of play forced C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's goalkeeper Alfredinho Gerber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredinho Gerber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesare Maestri in the 94th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The C.U.E. DE COMERCIO fans cheered their team off the field, for while Supremacy Catania FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
