Teodor Covaci's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gualter Secco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. SV Bad Harzburg were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Águia Real FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kaimo Liiva took the corner. Dadá Moura hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. SV Bad Harzburg's Takeshi Bieberstein managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Fiori Alves in the 34 minute of the game. 35 minutes into the game, Teodor Covaci lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Gualter Secco. Andrézinho Godoi hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Gualter Secco came out of the goal and Takeshi Bieberstein tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th minute Teodor Covaci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualter Secco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luís Eduardo de Amaral to make the kick off. Gualter Secco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodor Covaci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gualter Secco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodor Covaci, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ademir Ferraz during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teodor Covaci in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gualter Secco saved Águia Real FC from getting behind. SV Bad Harzburg's Horst Hussen managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Fiori Alves in the 68 minute of the game. Águia Real FC's Gualter Secco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodor Covaci in the 69th minute of play. When Teodor Covaci came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the SV Bad Harzburg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teodor Covaci couldn't finish the play. Teodor Covaci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Gualter Secco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Águia Real FC's goalkeeper Gualter Secco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Águia Real FC's Fabiano Martins got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gualter Secco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horst Hussen, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. SV Bad Harzburg were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after Águia Real FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kaimo Liiva took the corner. Alfonsas Jakniūnas made a great header on SV Bad Harzburg's corner, it was just that Águia Real FC's Gualter Secco managed to reach the ball for a save. 90 minutes had been played when some careless play by Águia Real FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. SV Bad Harzburg fully deserved thier win.
