The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Club Atlético de Newell. Club Atlético de Newell:s Dušan Ančic showed great skill when he stopped Xu Le Shu:s penalty. Dušan Ančic didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Xu Le Shu went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. Anderson Laguna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Devon Howson in the 97th minute of the match.
