With a little luck, Kilcotton's Bran Hutton got control of the ball when Devon Howson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bran Hutton stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Spike Foley's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. Dušan Ančic didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Barney Lavine went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 11th minute, Club Atlético de Newell's Sebastian Percival ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bran Hutton. Bran Hutton yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Bran Hutton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Percival, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Kilcotton were furious when Beineon Ryan was red carded, 18 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. A collision led to Kilcotton getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Beineon Ryan hit a great ball. Bran Hutton made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Pastor Eufemio sent off a good shot on target. In the 26th minute of the match Club Atlético de Newell got a corner. Kilcotton's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pastor Eufemio ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 28 minutes, Wilton Mandrak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atlético de Newell and the Kilcotton players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kilcotton's Bran Hutton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Kilcotton from getting a goal against them. Bran Hutton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Percival, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Percival in the 36th minute of play forced Kilcotton's goalkeeper Bran Hutton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bran Hutton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Devon Howson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bran Hutton came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético de Newell's Spike Foley. But to his dismay, Spike Foley quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Kilcotton's Bran Hutton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Kilcotton from getting a goal against them. Pastor Eufemio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bran Hutton having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Percival got free with Bran Hutton in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sebastian Percival was the one to do the kick off. Barney Lavine could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Dušan Ančic made a huge save. 53 minutes into the game, Devon Howson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Bran Hutton was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Kilcotton defense, Pastor Eufemio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bran Hutton. The Kilcotton fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bran Hutton should have stopped the shot. Devon Howson took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bran Hutton. Bran Hutton dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. Bran Hutton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Percival in the 65th minute of the match. After 68 played minutes Kilcotton got a freekick which was hit by Antaine Dalton. In the 73rd minute Sebastian Percival shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bran Hutton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 74 minutes of play, Club Atlético de Newell's Sebastian Percival made it 7-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bran Hutton was left in no man's land by his defense there! 77 minutes into the game, Club Atlético de Newell's Devon Howson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bran Hutton made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-1. Bran Hutton came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético de Newell's Devon Howson. But to his dismay, Devon Howson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-1. In the 83rd minute Sebastian Percival shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bran Hutton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Kilcotton's goal looked a bit too open when Devon Howson came free, but Bran Hutton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bran Hutton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Spike Foley in the 88th minute of the match. Kilcotton's Bran Hutton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pastor Eufemio in the 91st minute of play. Sebastian Percival received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Bran Hutton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
