Christopher Reimann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gao Wei Fei in the 17th minute of play. Christopher Reimann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gao Wei Fei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Barışcan Akova had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barışcan Akova in the 20thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Michael Krawczyk, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Michael Krawczyk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Barışcan Akova in the 22nd minute. Eregli SK's Vasko Zagorchev was substituted for Franck Ribéry.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vasko Zagorchev to make the kick off. Michael Krawczyk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vasko Zagorchev, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Tobias Abechuco replaced Grzegorz Jajecznica. Goral Zywiec's Fariz Nair was substituted for Gao Wei Fei. Michael Krawczyk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barışcan Akova in the 78th minute of the match. After 86 played minutes Eregli SK got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Emir Sarik. With a little luck, Eregli SK's Christopher Reimann got control of the ball when Fariz Nair tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Fariz Nair had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 94 minutes into the match, Tobias Abechuco notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Eregli SK's Christopher Reimann. Christopher Reimann was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Goral Zywiec walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
