In the 2nd match minute, Victory FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marko Kerkenezov to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th of the match, Romulo Lalla tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Lyuboslav Fudulov got in the way and made a wonderful save. In the 7th minute, Romulo Lalla made a precise shot to the right of Lyuboslav Fudulov. Victory FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 10 minutes into the match, Victory FC's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Fernando Pratto came free, but Lyuboslav Fudulov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute Boyko Koynov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silverio Sanson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomislav Batakliev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The corner led Victory FC's Velko Damov to fire away a dangerous shot which Silverio Sanson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Victory FC's goal looked a bit too open when Romulo Lalla came free, but Lyuboslav Fudulov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silverio Sanson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomislav Batakliev in the 18th minute of play. Roque Roso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute, Sandro Coisne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Velko Damov in the 21st minute of play forced Santa Fe's goalkeeper Silverio Sanson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomislav Batakliev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Silverio Sanson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lyuboslav Fudulov made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Juan Fernando Pratto sent off a good shot on target. Silverio Sanson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boyko Koynov in the 27th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Romulo Lalla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lyuboslav Fudulov. Victory FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Romulo Lalla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Lyuboslav Fudulov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roque Roso's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. In the 34thth minute of the game Roque Roso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Victory FC's Lyuboslav Fudulov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Roque Roso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Lyuboslav Fudulov made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juan Fernando Pratto in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lyuboslav Fudulov saved Victory FC from getting behind. Tomislav Batakliev scored 2-1 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silverio Sanson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Silverio Sanson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boyko Koynov in the 46th minute of play. Santi Ogazón charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Santi Ogazón the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Santi Ogazón hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Santa Fe's Mauricio Montes was substituted for Santi Ogazón. After a rather tough play, Santa Fe's Santi Ogazón got a free kick in the 48th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Romulo Lalla to strike the kick off in the second half. Silverio Sanson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laureano Medina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roque Roso in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lyuboslav Fudulov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Santa Fe getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Eraldo Lalli hit a great ball. 61 minutes into the match, Laureano Medina notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Santa Fe's Silverio Sanson. Silverio Sanson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roque Roso in the 67th minute of play forced Victory FC's goalkeeper Lyuboslav Fudulov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Santa Fe's goalkeeper Silverio Sanson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Silverio Sanson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laureano Medina, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Victory FC's Lyuboslav Fudulov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Fernando Pratto in the 76th minute of play. A collision led to Santa Fe getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Sandro Coisne hit a great ball. Silverio Sanson made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Radostin Muftiev sent off a good shot on target. Santa Fe's Roque Roso managed to work through Victory FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Roque Roso dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. 95 minutes into the match, Victory FC's goal looked a bit too open when Steve Rogers came free, but Lyuboslav Fudulov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Santa Fe booed when Victory FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivo Hadzhipetkov didn't get a good kick on the ball. 97 minutes into the match, Roque Roso notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Victory FC's Lyuboslav Fudulov. Lyuboslav Fudulov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
