The audience thought a goal was coming when Mats Falch got free with Stepan Babich in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Mats Falch put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Stepan Babich. The WWW LENINGRAD supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Argentinos Juniors's performance. The match ended with a win for Argentinos Juniors.
